GO BACK TO SLEEP

My last project for the year is a culmination of everything we have done this semester. i have used still images, video and animation collectively. my concept is one that invloves dreams and what thy mean after the fact, as in, when you wake up. a majority of the time if you remember your dream it comes back in bits and pieces, yet runs fluidly. here i tried to do just tha. i have still images that are fluidly linked yet broken in perspective. there are also subtle changes that i added throughout to have more a dreamlike quality. it seems that dreams never need to make sense, yet they do while it is occurring. so for this i had tweaked certain areas to go along with that. Some are obvious and others are hardly noticeable but play a big part in the sequencing of events. overall i am pleased with the outcome and look forward to getting some feedback.

GO BACK TO SLEEP

MAGIC SHOES

OH DEER

A SOBERING PERSPECTIVE

ok, so to go along with my animation project i was going to use the St Crispins day speech. however i felt that was to in depth of a monologue to acurately describe. So...I instead went with something a little more light hearted. it is a poem of a man and his son who happen to hit a deer and they get out to see if it is still ok but it eventually dies. It made me sad to think about this, and even wonder why someone would write about this??? I took from this that it needed to be changed so, given my light-hearted nature it had to become something humorous. overall i think that my lack of experience and understanding from the programs held me back but i mangaed to still create a successfull piece.

My animation project

this project has changed a lot and i cannot believe how much work actually needs to go into this. its not longer based on the st. crispins day speech i decided to take more or a comiical approach. i drew out all of the scenes and loaded them individually into photoshop where i learned how to use the animation tool which is really awesome. it got easier as i went along, i noticed that a lot of my scenes were based of the same templat, well background. i was able to just superimpose the necessary parts to change the scene. unfortunaltely i was unable to perfom some of the tasks that i thought i could. it turns out what i was trying to do is not offered in photoshop. nevertheless i am excited about the content of the piece which i will go over after the critique.
